Why this gallery exists

There are thousands of “starter kits” out there. Most are abandoned, half-documented, or a thin wrapper around a paywall. We grew tired of cloning a repo only to find it hadn't booted since two Next.js versions ago.

So we keep a short list of boilerplates we've actually run. We check the license, the commit history, and whether it deploys without a weekend of plumbing. If it doesn't clear the bar, it doesn't make the grid.

Each card carries the same three buttons — read the source on GitHub, deploy to Vercel, or deploy with Totalum. No lock-in, no sign-up wall. Just the fastest honest path from “interesting” to a running URL.

  • Genuinely open source — a permissive or copyleft license you can actually read.
  • Recent commits — maintained this year, not abandoned three frameworks ago.
  • Runs in one command — clone, install, and it boots locally without a yak-shave.
  • Deploy-ready — env vars documented and a one-click path to a live URL.
